With the busy life of today, snacking is a necessity for one to stay productive throughout the day. Without snacks you cannot function well because of the low sugars that will creep in lowering your energy levels. Since we cannot afford the leisure of sitting down to eat a whole meal any time we are hungry, snacking is the way to go. Most people though think snacking is just taking some carbohydrates or sugar to boost your energy and that’s it. Most of us don’t have any low carb snack ideas so we don’t know how to go about it.

Proteins like boiled eggs, yogurt and cheese are good, for fruits you can make a smoothie by blending various fruits or fruits like berries, cherries, apples and nuts are great since they are dry, easy to carry and no need to cut. Also make sure your snacks are readily available when needed be it at home, in the office or when you are traveling. The snacks should also be easy to assemble and can be carried with ease.
